An Eye Check-up Camp had been organised by the PRIZMA EYE-CARE HOSPITAL from 9th July, 2019 for Std. 1 to 8 and Sr. KG.
Eye-care in children is of prime importance because the children are not able to detect or complain about their eye-care problems. According to the Ophthalmologist, the symptoms of possible vision problems in children include:
- Poor school performance
- Not wanting to go to school
- Difficulty paying attention
- Difficulty when reading and writing
- Trouble seeing information on the chalk board
- Blurry or double vision
- Headaches or eye pain
- Taking longer than normal to complete homework
