NAVRATRI CELEBRATION (6th October – 15th October, 2021)

Navratri is celebrated to worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga, who destroyed the demon, Mahisasura. This festival is dedicated to feminine divinity, referred to as Shakti. The nine forms are Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skanda Mata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri. The tenth and the last day is called as Dussehra.

This is the biggest festival celebrated by Hindus in India and in the world. Gujarat celebrates this festival with Dandiya and Garba. Children of primary section have dressed up in their traditional clothes and have decorated the thali and the dandiyas. They  have done garba or dandiya to celebrate this festival.
