Janmashtami, also known as Gokulashtami, is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. According to Hindu mythology, Krishna, the human incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born on this day to destroy Mathura’s demon king Kansa.
This year the children of primary section took part in different activities like, decorating dahi handi, decorating the flute of Lord Krishna, making the crown for Lord Krishna and preparing his throne.
